Project Description
The aim of this project is to develop a real-time motion tracking system, based on the active vision system of the CVIP Lab, the CardEye. Such a system allows the object in motion to remain within the field of view of the active camera in real time. Furthermore, the tracking methods used offer a broad spectrum of practical applications. The tracking system can serve as a part of the intelligent robot that is responsible for integration and processing of visual information; it can be used in security systems; it can be used for tracking of real-time events, such as tracking the motion of an athelete.
